Natural Charm

This is my favourite woodland walk near Troon which is a source of snowdrop pictures in February and bluebells in April.

Flowering conditions can vary and some years are better than others for bluebells. This picture was taken one year when the bluebells were in abundance, possibly the best display I have ever seen, with numerous photographs just waiting to be taken.

Bluebells make attractive pictures, whether en masse in a woodland setting or as individual flowers, but they are best taken on a still day as any natural movement of the flowers makes it difficult to achieve sharp images.
